The Michigan Guardianship Association is the premier initiator for the advancement of legislative reform, guardianship certification, education, and the promotion of best practices for the protection of vulnerable individuals in the state of Michigan. We are excited to invite you to participate as an exhibitor at our 2026 Fall Conference at Park Place Hotel and Conference Center in Traverse City, Michigan on Thursday, September 24th and Friday, September 25th, 2026.

This is an amazing opportunity for you to network with professional and family guardians, healthcare professionals, advocates, fiduciaries, conservators, caregivers, social workers, attorneys and other MGA community members. As a valued participant you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced and knowledgeable speakers as they make informational presentations on important issues for surrogate decision makers.

We offer several unique sponsorship packages—each offering an array of promotional opportunities to leave a lasting impression with potential clients and colleagues.

The 2026 Fall Conference is a one-day conference on Friday, September 25th, 2026. The conference will begin with a Welcome Mixer from 7:00pm–9:00pm on Thursday, September 24th. Exhibitors are welcome to participate in sessions and networking. Social Workers are eligible for CEUs if attending sessions. All sponsorship and exhibiting packages include attendance to the Thursday Evening Welcome Mixer, all educational sessions on Friday, breakfast, and lunch.

Hotel Accommodations

The Michigan Guardianship Association is happy to provide discounted hotel accommodation rates to attendees and vendors. The conference will be held at Park Place Hotel and Conference Center. We STRONGLY recommend reserving as soon as possible. The room block is for Thursday, September 24th.

Room block cutoff date is Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 and availability cannot be guaranteed.

  • Open the booking webpage.
  • Select the overnight date of September 24 to receive the room rate.

MGA Discounted Room Rate: $209 per night, not including applicable taxes and fees.

It is the conference attendee's responsibility to coordinate hotel accommodations and understand the facility policies, including reservation cancellation.

Important Information

Set Up: Thursday, September 24th from 4:00pm–8:00pm in Grandview II. All exhibitors must be set up by 7:30am on Friday.

Tear Down: Friday, September 25th at 3:30pm.

Conference Details: Exhibitors are encouraged to attend the Thursday Welcome Mixer from 7:00pm–9:00pm. Exhibitors will be on display Friday only.

IMPORTANT: The exhibitor area is open air and not secure. Do not leave valuable items overnight. Neither MGA nor Park Place Hotel will be held liable for lost or stolen items.

Electrical hookup requests are due no later than September 11th, 2026. Electrical access cannot be guaranteed on-site without prior notice.
